Considered another upmarket, sought-after suburb in Cardiff, Victoria Park is very popular with families. The extensive park covers an impressive twenty acres and still contains the original model boating and paddling pool. The paddling pool is very well kept and remains a popular attraction in summer, plus a play park for younger children. Over the last few years the park has under gone a regeneration program and all the play equipment has either been replaced or renovated. At the very north of the park there are a number of tennis courts and a 5-a-side football astro turf field. Believe it or not but the park has seen some of the world’s most famous people strolling through it. The most recent being the BAFTA winner James Corden, he has recently been in Victoria Park filming shots for his new role in Doctor Who.
