Lisvane
Lisvane is one of the older areas of Cardiff, previously a small village 5 miles north, which has over the years merged into the Cardiff city boundaries. It is considered to be one of the most desirable areas to live in and house prices are traditionally higher than most other areas of Cardiff. With its own train station giving easy access into the city, commuting is a breeze and houses for sale in Lisvane are much rarer that in other areas of Cardiff.
Lisvane village’s 3,300+ residents have their own Lisvane community website, but being a fairly small village-like suburb, gossip is just as likely to be exchanged at the local shop. Other amenities include a primary school, a small library, park, nursery, war memorial, church and village hall. The Ty-Mawr pub has an excellent reputation!
