Llanishen

Llanishen is well-known as the home of the 'Tax man and his offices', the one of the tallest buildings in north Cardiff and a landmark for miles around. The office complex overlooks the 'Crystal and Fishguard estates', Parc Ty Glas industrial estate, old village, leafy suburban roads and various parkland that constitute the district. A retail park includes M&S, Homebase and other major retailers. Llanishen is also home to a fully featured Leisure Centre and the 60-acre Llanishen Reservoir.

Llanishen Reservoir is a local beauty spot that is connected to a green corridor which bisects the city from the rising hills in the north to Cardiff Bay in the south. Llanishen Reservoir is currently under threat as US developers have already started draining it to make way for the controversial plans to build more than 300 homes at one of Cardiff’s beauty spots. There is fierce opposition to the plans and it is looking as though the locals may win the battle, or maybe not!

The average selling price for property in Llanishen is £175,000. The most expensive property for sale in Llanishen to date is £265,000, and the least expensive property for sale in Llanishen is £66,995.
